you know, when i put this outfit together, i didn't feel like it was overly preppy, more like accidental prep. which i suppose is really the same thing when i say it outloud.
i found this top in the sale section at banana republic while looking for a gift for T. (and i really was looking for a gift but, who says you can't find something for you too?) the stripes immediately caught my eye, since i've been on the hunt for a long-sleeve basic striped top. then, i saw the contrasting striped cuff...sold! a perfect pop of color and texture to any outfit, and adds a little extra pizazz to a chilly day.
